This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, share, and protect your information, particularly as it may include sensitive financial data via Plaid and on-chain data from blockchain integrations. - Scope and Applicability
- This Privacy Policy applies to all users, including those in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, the European Economic Area (EEA), and elsewhere.
- Certain jurisdiction-specific rights (GDPR for EU/UK users, CCPA/CPRA for California residents, PIPEDA for Canada, Australian Privacy Principles, etc.) are addressed below.

3.1 Personal Information
- Plaid Data: Account balances, transaction histories, portfolio details, and other financial account data.
- User-Provided Data: Email, username, profile info, and settings you configure in your TradingGrader account.
- Web3 Wallet Data: Public wallet addresses, transaction
histories on blockchain, NFT or token holdings (no private keys).
3.2 Usage Data - Log data (IP addresses, device info, browser type) and analytics about user
interactions.
3.3 Cookies & Tracking - We use cookies or similar technologies to improve user experience and gather usage insights. You can manage or opt out via browser settings.
- Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR & UK)
- We rely on consent (when you connect Plaid or a blockchain wallet), contract (providing requested services), and/or our legitimate interests (improving platform performance) for processing your data.
- You may withdraw consent at any time by unlinking accounts or contacting us.
- How We Use Your Information
- Performance Evaluation: Analyze your trading and investment data to generate performance grades, insights, and historical metrics.
- User Experience: Personalize dashboard features, respond to inquiries, and send relevant notifications.
- Public Transaction Display: If you enable public sharing, recent or real-time transactions may be visible to others.
- Web3 Features: For GRADER token reward calculations, NFT gating, or other blockchain-based functionalities.
- Aggregated Analytics: We may produce anonymized or aggregated insights (e.g., average portfolio returns).
- Disclosure of Your Information
6.1 Third-Party Services
- Plaid: Used for financial data retrieval; governed by Plaid’s separate privacy policy.
- Blockchain Networks: On-chain data (transactions,
tokens, NFTs) is inherently public and beyond our direct control once published on the ledger.
6.2 Legal & Regulatory Compliance - We may disclose data if required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights or
users (e.g., fraud investigations).
6.3 Business Transfers - In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, user data may be transferred subject to confidentiality obligations.
- Data Storage & Retention
- We only retain personal data for as long as it is necessary to fulfill the services or comply with legal obligations.
- Financial Data: Retained while your account remains active or as required by law.
- Blockchain Data: Permanent on public ledgers; TradingGrader can remove references on our interface but cannot alter or delete on-chain records.
- International Data Transfers
- If you reside in the EU/UK, we may transfer your data outside the EEA/UK, using appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
- Users from other regions also consent to data being processed in the United States or other locations with potentially different data protection laws.

9.1 Access, Correction, Deletion
- You may request a copy of your personal data, correction of inaccuracies, or
deletion of your account data (subject to legal retention requirements).
9.2 CCPA/CPRA (California Residents) - Right to know what personal data we collect, right to request deletion, right
to opt out of data “sales” (if any), and right to non‑discrimination.
9.3 PIPEDA (Canada) - Right to access personal info and challenge its accuracy if incomplete or
incorrect.
9.4 Australia - We adhere to the Australian Privacy Principles. You can request access or
correction of your data, and we will handle data breaches according to the Notifiable Data Breach
scheme.
9.5 How to Exercise Rights - Contact info@tradinggrader.com with the subject line “Data Request” for any rights inquiries. We will respond within the timeframe required by local laws.
- Security Measures
- We use encryption, restricted access, and industry-standard safeguards to protect data.
- Blockchain & Wallet Security: You remain responsible for securing private wallet credentials; we never store private keys.
- No security system is impenetrable; we provide breach notifications if required by applicable law.
- Children’s Privacy
- TradingGrader is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, contact us to delete it.
- Changes to This Policy
- We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect new features or regulatory changes. We will provide notice of material revisions (e.g., via email or in-app notification).
- Continued use after updates signifies acceptance of the revised policy.
